I did notice 3:16 yesterday. And I agree that one little verse does explain a lot about our marriages today. In today's reading I was reminded that even from the beginning bad things happen to good people. I also know that God didn't have to ask Cain where his brother was, He already knew. But, I have to wonder if Cain had told the truth would his punishment have been less severe.

That is a good point. Did you notice that Cain was wiped off the family tree?
ReplyDeleteHey Tree, I did it...I'm signed up! All I need now is the Bible. Probably have to drive to Austin for that so if you could send me the "addresses" we're supposed to be reading, I'll try to get caught up with my NIV in the meantime.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned this study in Sunday School yesterday and one friend wants to join so I sent her an invitation. Just by coincidence, she and her husband (Jan and Chuck Wilkinson)started reading this Bible on the 1st so they are very interested in the blog. I told her I thought it was women only so you'll need to let me know if it's okay for Chuck to join in.
